Souvenir d'Italie is a research project on industrial production systems and material memory. Leather is treated here as a structural surface capable of recording technical gestures and artisanal knowledge through physical use.

Each piece is developed within Italian production
frameworks, where knowledge is transmitted through material practice. The object is no longer a mere souvenir but a functional archive of its own manufacturing process. By registering contact and transforming over time, these wearable structures integrate the user into a continuous narrative of material performance.

Souvenir d'Italie does not reconstruct the past; it establishes a persistent presence of artisanal intelligence within contemporary objects.
