In the myth of Ariadne, the thread is a tool for escape; in this project, the paradigm is reversed so that the thread becomes the labyrinth itself. WOOLINE turns the classical story inside out, using a single woolen line woven across wooden poles to define a semi-transparent maze. In this space, the perception of overlapping fibers replaces the permanence of walls.
The path does not lead to a monster, but to a small sanctuary of pioneer plants. Often dismissed as weeds, these resilient species are the first to reclaim the ground, celebrating the untamed power of starting over. The work is an exercise in unlearning how we see, teaching the body to navigate space through light and transparency rather than solid boundaries.
